Excursion tour to Oxford
Description:
Oxford is an Anglo-Saxon city that grew up in the 9th century on its way from London to central England. Gradually, from the trading city of Oxford was transformed into a city of schoolmen, where in the 12th century the first colleges, training mainly clergy, appeared.
Oxford University consists of 39 colleges. Each with its own traditions and stories that have come down to us from the Middle Ages.
During a walking tour of Oxford, I will tell you about the English education system, show you the most interesting colleges (Bronze Nose College!), and if lucky, even look inside one of the educational institutions. We will see the College of Christ Church, where Harry Potter was filmed and where the daughter of the dean lived.
