Oxford excursion
Description:
In Oxford, as in no other city in England,
There is a combination of ancient and modern. The history of the city dates back to Saxon times, it was home to the royal family and of course the first universities. We will visit the most interesting colleges, with their dining rooms, chapels, and impeccable gardens, the Sheldon Theatre, the main concert hall of Oxford, the venue for university ceremonies, see the round building of the library of the Radcliffe Chamber, climb the tower of the Church of St. Mary, visit the city market, walk through the streets of local residents. We will be imbued with the spirit of history and architecture of this city, which is not for nothing called the city of “dreaming spires”.
