Bellevue Chapel

31 Rodney St, Edinburgh, City of Edinburgh EH7

Description:

Bellevue Chapel is an independent evangelical church located in the centre of Edinburgh. The Bellevue Chapel is run by the Council of Elders. The church building was built in 1880. Externally, it is a two-storey building with two towers, which to this day remains one of the most interesting and famous monuments of architecture.

Bellevue can be visited by anyone interested in Christianity. In other words, even someone who is not a regular parishioner.

The purpose of Bellevue is to induce people to adopt Christianity, as well as to train novices. But the main distinguishing feature of Bellevue is that communication with guests, unlike most such establishments, takes place in a relaxed and informal atmosphere.

Here parishioners enjoy joint lunches, prayer meetings, and lessons about worship. In addition, the chapel offers games and entertainment for children of different ages, and organizes numerous sports events, including cricket and football.
