Skone Palace

Scone, Perth, PH2 6BD, UK

Description:

Skone Palace was mentioned by Shakespeare in Macbeth. To this day, the castle absorbs history to pass on to our descendants.

Today, Skone is a residential castle, it has an owner who warmly opened part of the building to tourists. The decoration of the palace and now looks truly royal: the interior, utensils, furniture, paintings, books and sculptures amaze the imagination with their chic and richness.

No less admirable is the park belonging to the palace. Throughout the park, sakura grows, which during flowering turns its head with its aroma, proudly and economically walk peacocks, and at night lions and tigers are released for a walk.

One of the attractions of Skone is the Stone of Destiny, which served to determine the authenticity of the Scottish monarch, who after a long struggle with Britain still found himself in his homeland.

For the convenience and comfort of tourists in the park there is a small restaurant and many shops where you can relax and admire the view of the castle from the outside.
