Scotland is known for its mountains, castles and numerous lakes. Among the Scottish picturesque lakes can be distinguished by the beautiful lake Loch Duich.
The lake is located on the west coast of Scotland surrounded by mountains. There is a legend about three brothers who went fishing at night. They saw three beautiful girls dancing in the sand in the moonlight. The girls left their robes on the shore. The brothers stole their clothes, assuming the girls would become their wives. The younger brother, feeling trouble, returned his clothes. For his kindness, the girl's father allowed him to visit her every ninth night. As for the other two brothers, both were severely punished.
The lake is also associated with Loch Ness in that it was allegedly seen a similar mysterious creature, which has long been sought in Loch Ness.
