Mount Stewart Castle

Mt Stuart, Isle of Bute, Argyll and Bute PA20 9LR

Description:

Mount Stewart Castle, built in the XVIII century, is the pearl of Bute Island. Its owners are some of the richest people in Britain, and the current owner was a Formula 1 driver (Johnny Dumfries Marquis of Bute).

The castle is 3 hours from Edinburgh and 2 hours from Glasgow. The building was built in the 1719th century, and a century later architect Robert Anderson rebuilt the palace in red, overlooking the sea. The owners of the castle have always been Butes, whose fortune has increased significantly every year, and they spared no expense for their residence, which should be truly luxurious and lush. Every heir to a rich family added something to the castle.

Buttes live in this fabulous castle, surrounded by a beautiful park, and today. Excursions on the estate are held every Friday and Saturday.
