Sant'Assaf Cathedral

High Street, Saint Asaph, Clwyd LL17 0RD, UK

Description:

St. Asaph is registered as the smallest cathedral in England and Wales. The collection of the cathedral museum is rich in ancient Bibles and prayer books.

The history of the city is rooted in the deep past - in the sandy hill above the city there is a cave with fossilized remains of animals and plants of the Stone Age.

The cathedral is located on the banks of the Elwy River. It was and still is an important church center for many centuries. St. Asaph is located on a small peak, around which a valley spreads, which amazes the eye with its beauty.

Every year at the end of September, a music festival is held in the cathedral.
