El Libertador House Museum
Esquinas de San Jacinto a Traposos, Caracas, Distrito Capital, Avenida Universidad, Caracas
About the company:
The house-museum "El Libertador" is one of the main attractions of Caracas, an integral part of its strict colonial architecture. The museum is located in Casa Natal de Simon Bolivar, a large colonial-style house rebuilt in 1680 after an earthquake in the mid-eighteenth century.
Here spent his youth the hero of all Latin America Simon Bolivar, who is called “Libertador”, that is, “Liberator”. Nearby is the place of his burial - Pantheon Nacional.
Today, the building is an invaluable example of a beautiful and at the same time restrained colonial architectural style, without inspection of which no introductory tour for guests of Caracas can do.
