Monument to dead children

There is a very sad place on the shore of the Hungarian Lake Balaton. When people see this place, they stop smiling. Many people say that it even starts to smell a strange cold. In 1978, a terrible tragedy happened here. A ferry with schoolchildren on a tour of the lake turned over. The cause of the incident has never been established. All the children went under water in a matter of minutes. In 1999, a monument to the dead children was erected here. It is presented in the form of a granite block, at the top of which you can see an outstretched child's hand, as if begging for help.

Balaton is 100 km from Budapest. From Russia you need to fly first to Moscow, then get to the lake. You can get to Balaton from Budapest by all means of transport.
