About the company:
The castle-museum "Helikon" was built in 1745, it is located near Balaton.
Krisztof Festetic was the builder of the castle, today it is made in the neo-baroque style, owned at the time by Duke Tacilo Festetic and his wife Duchess Mary Hamilton.
György Festetić, one of the first owners of the castle, arranged in the XIX century unusually beautiful literary holidays, which were called "Helikon".
In one of the wings of the castle there is a rather rich castle-museum with excellent carved furniture and a library, where you will find a huge number of different volumes.
You can also visit various exhibitions in the castle, such as the history of hunting, the exhibition of carriages and the history of modeling railways.
At the entrance to the main hall, various concerts are often held, and a fountain works in the picturesque park.
