Sharmelleck Airport

Charmellek Airport, also known as Fly Balaton, is located near the village of the same name. The airport is currently the country’s second international airport after Budapest Ferihedi.

It was founded in the 40s of the twentieth century, and a runway of concrete with a length of 2,500 meters was built here in 1982. It now has one passenger terminal serving customers who often go to the nearby popular resorts of Zalakarosh and Heviz.

It is recommended to arrive at the airport at least 2 hours before the departure of the aircraft for registration. All baggage brought at check-in must be presented to the airline staff for further marking with a baggage tag. Items that do not exceed weight standards are carried free of charge.
