Tower of the Church of Mary Magdalene Bude

Hungary, Budapest, Ú ri utca 14

Description:

The tall bell tower of the Church of Mary Magdalene in the capital of Hungary is all that remains of the ancient church of the same name. Over the centuries, the tower has been destroyed many times. At the end of the 20th century, the tower was restored.

A square base with two floors in the form of an octagon and a green octagonal dome visually divide the tower into three parts. Decorate the facade of geometric ornament and pointed windows.

The observation deck (up a narrow staircase of 170 steps) offers a magnificent view of the city.

The tower can be reached by bus number 16, 16A, 116.
