The Sinwa River
Description:
The Sinva River, famous for its high waterfalls, in the Hungarian city of Miskolc stretches for almost 20 km. About seventy bridges, hung with symbols of love (castles) connect the two river deregs. The famous square with terraces, a waterfall, a ladder to the water is called “Sinwa Terrace”. In the evening, the illuminated square, cafes and restaurants attract citizens and tourists. There are two interesting monuments on the terrace: “Girls from Miskolc” and a sculpture in honor of a shepherd dog named Munch.
From Budapest to Miskolc can be reached by train in 2 hours.
