Monument to Saint Erzebet

In the Hungarian town called Sharospatak is one of the most famous monuments in the country - the monument of St. Erzebet. It is located near the red tower, in which the city chapel is installed, and therefore it is not difficult to find the monument.
The monument is erected in honor of a girl who lived in the 13th century. The fact that the life of this person is shrouded in many legends and myths. However, if you discard all the mystical stories, it still turns out that Erzebet is essentially one of the greatest Hungarian ladies, because, in her relatively small life, she managed to do many good and important things.
