Observation deck on the Danube bend
Description:
In copper Pest, in the central part of Hungary, is the ancient city of Visegrad. Located on the border of Western and Slavic lands, it survived more than one invasion due to the fact that in 1259 the Hungarian kings erected a majestic fortress on its top. Withstood many sieges in the Middle Ages, in the XVIII century it fell under the onslaught of the Habsburg Empire.
To this day, only one of the towers of the Visegrad fortress has survived - Solomon's Tower. However, it is from this point that the majestic panorama of the bend of the Danube breaks off. To climb to the observation deck, you need to carefully examine the walls of the tower. One of them securely hidden tiny door leading to the point of view through numerous rooms-museums. However, the main attraction is the picturesque nature of the bend of the Danube, which can be admired indefinitely.
