Description:
Built in 1933, the summer palace of Emperor Bao Dai is an amazing museum that allows you to get acquainted with how Vietnamese aristocrats lived in the twentieth century. All twenty-five rooms of the palace are filled with various exhibits, which a few decades ago were elements of the life of the emperor.
Most tourists are amazed by the chic imperial sauna and a unique ultraviolet tanning machine. Of course, a glass card received as a gift from Vietnamese students who studied in France thanks to the financial assistance of the emperor is worth noting. The life-size imperial bust is kept in Bao Dai’s former office.
The palace is open daily for everyone, from 7 to 16 hours. It should be noted that before entering the palace, guests must take off their shoes.
