Lake Xuan Huong

Xuan Huong Lake was formed in 1919 after a local dam was built. The lake owes its name to the Vietnamese poet Xuan Huong, who lived in the seventeenth century. She became famous for her courageous criticism of society and government policies.

Around the lake there is a path, which is a favorite place for evening walks of tourists and locals. Riding lovers will be able to ride horses, having previously paid rent for them. Two hundred meters from the dam you can rent fun boats. There is also near the restaurant "Thanh Thui", where you can taste fragrant dishes of local cuisine. Another place, certainly worthy of attention, is a chic golf club, covering an area of fifty hectares.
