China Beach

China Beach is a paradise for surf lovers and those who want to admire the turbulent sea and feel the full force of the water element. The swimming season is quite short because most of the year the sea is too turbulent for swimming.

China Beach gained its fame in part because of the American TV series of the same name – China Beach, which tells about the lives of soldiers who served in Vietnam, the developers of the beach decided to leave the name, which increased its popularity among tourists.

But not only the name attracts people to relax on this beach, the famous white sands, beautiful terrain, the nearby Marmara Mountains. Thanks to the restless sea and high waves, the resort is extremely popular among surfers. The swimming season on the beach is considered to be from May to July, during this period rescuers work, at other times of the year it is dangerous to swim, even experienced surfers and swimmers may not be able to cope with the natural elements.

The beach is also known for hosting the World Surfing Championships in 1992. In addition, Forbes magazine China Beach was included in the number of the most luxurious beaches in the world.
