“Danang in the hands of a giant in 6 days. Author's tour"
Description:
Fire bridges and lanterns of the ancient port.
Imagine a place where in one trip you can find yourself in a French village high in the clouds, and in an ancient port of the XV century, and on the ruins of Hindu temples in the middle of the jungle. Da Nang is not just a resort, but a gateway to the wonderful world of central Vietnam.
I took this route myself to collect for you the best facets of the region: from the modern city by the sea to ancient sanctuaries, from incredible bridges to the lanterns of ancient Hoi An.
Your six-day trip to Central Vietnam:
Day 1. Arrival and first acquaintance with Danang.
Arrival, check-in at the hotel. The first walk is along the embankment of the famous Mi Khe beach, where you can swim and feel the sea. In the afternoon, walk along two embankments along the Khan River - from the Dragon Bridge to the Khan Bridge. Visit the Catholic Cathedral of Da Nang (Pink Church). In the evening there is a fire and water show on Dragon Bridge that you will not forget.
Day 2. Ba Na Hills Cloud Park.
We will spend the whole day at Ba Na Hills. Take the longest and highest cable car in the world. The main star is the Golden Bridge, which is held by giant stone hands. Walk through the French village with its European streets, visit the picturesque gardens of Le Jardin D’Amour and go to the Linh Ung pagoda.
Day 3. Marble mountains and beach holidays.
In the morning – an active walk through the Marble Mountains. We explore caves, pagodas and observation decks with breathtaking views. In the afternoon, relax on Non Nuoc beach, one of the most beautiful in the area.
Day 4. Ancient Hoi An and the Coconut Village.
In the morning we will go to the coconut village of Kam Thanh. Here we are waiting for a walk in round boats through the coconut forest Bay Mau - a real jungle on the water.
The afternoon is a walk through the historic center of Hoi An, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. City-museum with delightful architecture of the XV-XIX centuries, yellow houses and thousands of lanterns. And when it gets dark, it turns into a real fairy tale.
Day 5. Shoncha Peninsula and Lady Buddha.
We're going to the Shoncha Peninsula. First of all, visit the Lin Ung Pagoda with its famous statue of Lady Buddha (the tallest Buddha statue in Vietnam). Picturesque gardens, observation decks and ocean views. Then we climb to Ban Co Peak, the highest point of the peninsula (about 700 m), from where a breathtaking panorama opens.
Day 6. The Lost Michonne Temples and the Beach Finale.
Explore My Son Sanctuary, another UNESCO site. These are the ruins of the Hindu temples of the Champa civilization, built from the IV to the XIII century and located right in the jungle. An atmospheric place for history lovers and adventurers. The second half of the day is a free rest at Mi Khe beach.
Key features of the tour:
- Checked out: This route is the fruit of my personal journey in Da Nang. I made it myself and walked through it to show you how different this city and its surroundings can be: a cloudy French village, ancient ports, marble mountains and lost jungle temples.
- Freedom on wheels: On Danang and between attractions, it is most convenient to travel by taxi - it is budgetary and does not require finding parking. Would you like a taxi? You can rent a car or book individual excursions with a guide and transfer.
- The perfect framework for your ideas: The route is a great foundation to change.
- Do you want more beach holidays? You can replace a day in Ba Na Hills with a leisurely day in the Cham Islands.
- Interested in urban life? We'll add more time in Da Nang.
- Do you like outdoor activities? It is easy to add a walk through the surrounding mountains or a bike tour.
What do you get?
- Detailed plan with reference points for each day.
- My personal recommendations for the best restaurants with Vietnamese cuisine, cafes with views and secret places for photos.
- Assistance in the selection and booking of the hotel.
- Maintenance during the entire trip.
Cost of the tour:
The final price is formed individually after consultation. The main factors: season, category of hotel, composition of the group, as well as your wishes to change the program.
