Lotus Lake
Bau Sen, Hò a Thắ ng, Bac Binh District, Binhhuan, Vietnam
Description:
Lotus Lake is located right at the foot of snow-white sand barchans. It is called so because many of these beautiful flowers grow near its shores, however, you can see their pink carpet in all its glory only in the second half of the year.
Lotus Lake, or, as it is also called, Bau Shen, stretched for three kilometers, reaching at its widest point 500 meters. It is surrounded by white sand, which perfectly shades the blue color of the lake water. During the flowering of lotuses, this picture is complemented by bright pink-lilac spots against the juicy greenery of saucer leaves. It turns out a fascinating picture, a beautiful landscape that deserves every admiration and numerous pictures to remember.
Lake Bau Shen is freshwater. According to local fishermen, there are a lot of fish. They say that you can catch a white Cupid weighing up to 30 kilograms (apparently, fishermen around the world are the same, but we will forgive them this weakness).
If you have a desire to swim in the lake, then remember two things: the water in it is not flowing, therefore, not very clean, and the long underwater stems of plants make swimming unsafe. It is better to admire this beauty from the shore.
