Ngoc Son Temple inh Tiê n Hoang, Hang Trng, Hoan Kiem District, Hanoi, Vietnam
Description:
Temple Den Ngoc Sean was built in the XVIII-XIX centuries. Located in the middle of Hoan Kiem Lake, it is connected to the shore by a wooden bridge of catchy red color.
Its creation is dedicated to three saints of Vietnam: doctor La To, General Tran Hung Dao, who saved the country from the Mongol invasion, as well as a scientist named Wang Swangu.
The temple of Den Ngoc Sean offers a wonderful view of the lake. The modern exterior of the building is the result of restoration, which was carried out in 1864 by Nguyen Van Shieu. At the entrance to the holy place, the famous writer Sieu made a large tower made in the form of a pen. The upper section of the tower is also not without an idea - three Chinese characters are painted on it. Symbols indicate that writing in the sky is the achievement of heights of will and firmness of a sincere person and a righteous person.
