Mekong Delta. Kai Be Floating Market (Option 2).

This is the second excursion to the Mekong Delta. We move on, we see more. During this tour we will visit the famous floating market Kai Be.

This is a place where peasants from different provinces of the Mekong Delta present their goods for sale. Someone sells cassava, someone durian, mango, papaya, mangosteen, bananas, local crafts.

After familiarizing with the floating market, we will land on the shore where we will get acquainted with the traditions of production of coconut toffees, rice paper, rice popcorn, spirits and tinctures of various fortresses and purposes.

Next, we follow the path to the island of Binh Hoa Phuk – a paradise covered with thick thickets of water coconut palms, orchards and nurseries where ornamental bonsai trees are grown.

We will visit an old house where local artists will perform folk songs for us.

The house itself still retains its original interior of the early 20th century.

Next, we will have a delicious lunch of traditional Vietnamese dishes.
