Tour of mangrove forests in Kanzo National Reserve (Wamsat)
Description:
Kanzo National Reserve (Wamsat) is located at the mouth of the Saigon River 50 km from the city center of Ho Chi Minh City – a modern, bustling, bubbling metropolis.
This tour is one of the most popular among those tourists who love wild, virgin nature. This national park is a zone of protection of the biosphere of our planet and its preservation and development is under the patronage of UNESCO.
The residents of Ho Chi Minh City themselves call the Kanzo district "the lungs of the city."
The reserve itself is a huge area covered with mangrove forests in which more than 70 species of animals, more than 130 species of fish, 9 species of amphibians, about 30 species of reptiles, 130 species of birds and 18 species of mammals live.
In the thickets of wild date palms, tens of thousands of bats live, and during nesting in the reserve hundreds of thousands of rare species of birds flock.
Climbing to the observation deck of the 25-meter tower, we will explore the picturesque surroundings of the park. During the tour, we will have the opportunity to feed crocodiles and catch crabs.
During the tour, moving around the reserve by canoe, we will visit the island of bats, visit a crocodile breeding nursery, feed wild deer, monkeys and walk among the thickets of mangroves.
During lunch we can enjoy local delicacies. (Dinner is optional, paid additionally)
