Kantho Bridge has six lanes for passenger transport, as well as four pedestrian zones. Also, the design provides a 39-meter gap, allowing large merchant ships to pass under it. The grand opening of the building took place on April 24, 2010 with the participation of local authorities. The cost of building the Kantho Bridge is estimated at nearly $343 million, making it the most expensive bridge in Vietnam.
At night, the design acquires an even more enchanting appearance, thanks to well-designed illumination. The bridge is one of the most popular tourist sites of the city, it offers a magnificent view of numerous restaurants, nightclubs, hotels and entertainment complexes.
