Excursion to the Mekong River Delta (option 1)

This option is the most standard and most popular among local and foreign tourists. This tour gives us an opportunity in a relatively short time to get an overview of the geography of the Mekong Delta and the lifestyle, culture and crafts of the local people.

During our excursion, we will make a fascinating voyage on a large pleasure ship along the upper arm of the Mekong River (the width of the sleeve is about 3 km).

We will visit a private orchard where we can taste local fruits, look at the apiary and try natural flower honey, listen to traditional songs of South Vietnam performed by local musicians.

We will study the technology of production of coconut toffee - a local traditional type of sweets, ride a horse cart along a village street and make a fascinating swim through narrow shady channels on a small rowing boat.

During lunch we will enjoy traditional Vietnamese dishes in a restaurant overlooking the Mekong River.

And at the end of the tour to choose from, we will visit one of 2 local attractions: Kaodaist temple or ancient Buddhist temple Vin Chang.
