Description:
This tour is ideal for those tourists who want to combine military-historical themes while visiting guerrilla tunnels with an easy but rich program of excursions along the Mekong Delta.
At 7:00 in the morning, we go on a tour of the guerrilla tunnels of Kuchi – the places where during the war with the Americans lived and fought underground Vietnamese soldiers.
In fact, these underground tunnels can rightly be called the “eighth wonder of the world” – imagine that their total length is 250 km and they are located in three levels underground.
During this tour, we will learn about the history of the creation of these tunnels, about the life and struggle of guerrillas, visit weapons workshops, a field hospital, a field kitchen, a shooting range, with a local guide we will go underground and go underground the way that the guerrillas once did during the war.
After the tour, we head to the Mekong River Delta.
During the excursion along the Mekong River, we visit orchards, apiaries, nurseries of snakes and crocodiles, get acquainted with local crafts, taste fruits, sweets, honey, rice vodka.
We ride on a large motor boat, on a small rowing boat, on a horse cart.
A delicious lunch awaits us in a restaurant overlooking the Mekong River. After lunch we visit the oldest and most beautiful Buddhist temple in the Mekong Delta.
