Excursion to Vung Tau

The city of Vung Tau is a modern city-sea resort, a favorite vacation spot for residents of Ho Chi Minh City and those foreign citizens who live in Ho Chi Minh City. The distance between the two cities is relatively small -120 km, and thanks to the modern highway, the road is not tiresome, but rather entertaining.
The city of Vung Tau (Cape of St. Jacques, as the French called this place) is a city with a long and vibrant history. On the territory of the city there are two small peaks - Small Mountain and Big Mountain. On the Small Mountain during the Nguyen Dynasty, a lighthouse was built, in those years working on coconut oil. The city is home to one of the tallest statues of Jesus Christ in the world and some of the oldest and most beautiful Buddhist temples in southern Vietnam.
During our tour, we will visit all the most famous sights of the city, take unforgettable photos, dine in a local restaurant and swim in the warm waters of the South China Sea.
Usually we offer tourists such a program during which we visit the community of immigrants from Ha Tien province where we get acquainted with the model of a traditional, Vietnamese, rich, feudal village of the late 19th - early 20th centuries. Next, we inspect the statue of Jesus Christ, inside which we climb the stairs to the observation deck (entrance in strict clothes with a long sleeve and with closed knees), located on the shoulders of the statue and examine the territory of the city and the sea coast from a bird's eye view, a grand sight! We visit a whale temple and an ancient French villa where members of the Vietnamese royal family once lived. Now the museum is closed for redevelopment, if it opens, we will visit it. Next, we go to the entertainment complex - it is both a water park, a zoo, a botanical garden, and a temple complex. This complex is located on a mountain and there is a cable car. If time permits, we can swim in the sea. We'll have a delicious lunch next.
