Museum of Natural History

Georges Lane, Down Town, Kingston, Jamaica

About the company:

The Natural History Museum, located in Kingston at the University of Jamaica, is the country’s oldest museum and one of the best in the Caribbean.

There are more than 125,000 species of island flora and fauna found on the island, as well as a huge collection of books and documents about the history of Jamaica.

Visitors will be able to see maps and “shark documents” among the exhibits of the museum, which are ship logs that captains for various reasons threw overboard, after which sometimes such magazines were found in the stomachs of captured sharks.
