Negril

Jamaican jungle

Description:

Walking a 2-hour walk through a remote Jamaican village and jungle.

Want to know how people live in the village? Look into a real village house? Try some fruit from the Jamaican backyard? Shopping at a village store or hanging out at a local bar?

No problem!

Feel the spirit of Jamaica: wise Rastamans, crazy youth on motorcycles, a village computer club, happy children and always busy women.

I live in the village, so I can talk about the way of life, traditions and habits endlessly!

Passing through the village, we will get into the real jungle, where we are waiting for adventures: cross the river ford, get through the thickets to a 300-year-old tree, swim in a crystal clear backwater, and if you want to participate in Jamaican fun – swim under the bridge.

We won't see snakes or anything!

After the walk we will go... No, not back to the hotel. To the cave!

Locals consider this place to be energetically strong, come to the cave to meditate, perform magical rituals and pray for the fulfillment of desires at the natural altar.

Another attraction of the cave is an underground karst funnel called (of course) Blue Hole - Blue Hole. Although it would be more accurate to call it the “Hole of Death.” Swimming in such a place is guaranteed unforgettable impressions and sensations!

After swimming, you can also go to the hotel.

The road from Negril to the village takes about 40 minutes along a picturesque road: pastures, plantations, mountains. Ready?:
