And here is the first stop - the waterfall Shiraito (Shiraito - White threads), located near the city of Fujinomiya (Fijinomiya). Surrounded by forests, we will have an unexpected view. Among the bright and colorful plants seep streams of snow-white water. It is because of the external exposure of the waterfall and received this name, because Shiraito in Japanese means “white threads”. The waterfall does not fall as usual from a cliff. The water just comes out of the mountain gorge. The height is only three meters, but the water width is a natural wonder as much as 70 meters. The waterfall is a continuation of groundwater. They are rich in minerals, and by the way, the water is not cold at all. The flow of water does not change its intensity, since the seasons do not affect the amount of groundwater. Many people who visited the waterfall speak of it as the most unusual in the world. Such a charge of emotion and the amount of useful saturated oxygen you will not find anywhere! Further our road will pass along the picturesque shores of lakes Saiko and Kawaguchiko at the foot of Mount Fuji. You will get acquainted with the sinister attraction of the area - the Jiukai Forest Park, which is declared a natural monument of Japan. Today it is known as the Suicide Forest. We will continue our journey by visiting the Iyashchi but Sato open-air museum. On the way to the folk village we will admire tea plantations, citrus groves and rice fields, peasant houses with tiled roofs, magnificent mountain landscapes and gorges. Before entering the museum, we will be greeted by a pond with crystal mountain water and colorful decorative Japanese maps grown for admiration. We will wander between ancient samurai houses "minka" with roofs of rice straw and get acquainted with the life of the inhabitants of medieval Japan. We will consider samurai armor and swords, silk cocoons, rice mats “tatami”, various crafts, ancient children’s toys, and buy something for memory We will put on a samurai outfit or a female kimono, merge with a fascinating landscape and do not forget to be photographed for memory in such an exceptionally unusual form. Then we dine in a family Japanese restaurant with the delicacies of the area. We will be served a number of popular traditional dishes of Japanese cuisine, in particular "tempura" - roasted vegetables or seafood in the bar, "sashimi" - cutting fresh raw fish, and delicious dessert from grapes. I note that all dishes are prepared on the purest waters of the spring, which is famous for the area at the foot of FujiyamaA ahead of us is an exceptional and one-of-a-kind Kimono Museum of the most outstanding artist of our days Ichiku Kubota. Once in the museum, you will be transported to the Fantastic world of mountain and marine species of the Japanese archipelago, together making up whole panoramic landscapes. All this unsurpassed beauty in a subdued light, uncovered with glass, will come off the kimono clothes of a skilled master and perhaps even make someone cry (creating each kimono-5 years of the master’s life). The landscapes of Kubota seem to be alive - when you look at them you will feel both winter frost and a slight summer breeze. Here we will not follow time because time stops within these white walls. And the last part of the journey is tasting wine from vineyards around Fuji. We will buy a new harvest of young wine and local chocolate with raisins.
