Kyoto

Description:

What will you see?

  • The Kinkakuji Golden Pavilion is one of the most famous and recognizable symbols of Kyoto. Fragile and miniature, the Golden Pavilion seems to hover over the surrounding lake, reflecting like a mirror in its clear waters.
  • Ryoanji Temple, whose name means "Temple of the Resting Dragon". It is famous for its garden of 15 stones. The main mystery of this creation is that from whichever side you look at the garden, you can only see 14 stones - one will always disappear from view.
  • The Temple of a Thousand Buddhas is one of the oldest wooden temples in Japan, which has come down to us without reconstruction since the Middle Ages. The temple is a long altar placed under the roof, in thirty-three spans of which there are 1001 statues of Kannon.
  • Kiyomizuder Temple, whose name literally translates as the Temple of Pure Water. It is impossible to visit Kyoto without visiting this magnificent temple. With a large terrace, which stands on wooden stilts, there is a beautiful view of the city.
