Description:
9:00 Meeting. The guide will meet you in the lobby of the hotel with a sign in the hands that shows the name and surname of tourists.
Transfer to Kamakura will take about 1 hour.30 minutes
First stop in Kamakura: Kotoku-in Temple. Founded in the 13th century, the temple is famous for its large bronze statue of Buddha, 13 meters high. We will have the opportunity not only to admire the impressive size of the statue standing in the open air and thus make beautiful memorable photographers, but also to go into the hollow statue, being inside the Buddha.
On the way back we will walk along the souvenir street, if you want to buy souvenirs and other items exhibited on the shelves of souvenir shops.
Next we will visit one of the impressive temple complexes of Haseder. Due to the fact that the temple is located on the hillside, it is multi-level, which allows you to gradually get acquainted with the deities, each of which has its own corner. We will see: a beautiful pond with carp, look into the cave of the goddess Benzaiten, get acquainted with the merciful Jizo, see one of the oldest bells of Kamakura, look into the library of sutras, where we will twist the rinzo and comprehend wisdom, take a photo against the background of a beautiful Buddhist temple and look inside we will be impressed with the main treasure of the temple - the statue of the goddess Kanon 9 meters high, polished by a monk from a camphor tree in the distant 8th century. From the height of the hill we will admire the landscape of the city from the ocean making memorable photos.
Lunch at the temple in a restaurant overlooking the ocean, where Japanese and European cuisine is presented.
After lunch we will move to the modern city of Yokohama.
We will visit one of the most beautiful gardens of Yokohama - the architectural garden of Sankeyen. The history of the garden dates back to the first half of the 20th century. Many wooden buildings brought here from all over Japan, whose age ranges from 100 to 500 years, are buried in the rugged vegetation of the garden. The pearl of the garden is a three-tiered pagoda on the top of a hill built in the 15th century. Since the garden can be admired all year round by the flowering of certain plants, it is a popular place for wedding photoshoots in traditional Kimono attire. You have a unique opportunity to see the newlyweds in beautiful national clothes.
We will pass a simplified tea ceremony with the opportunity to capture the work of the master in a photo or video.
Visit the business card of the city of Yokohama: the skyscraper Land Mark tower is the third tallest in Japan. We will climb the high-speed elevator at a speed of 45 km / h. and find ourselves on the observation platform Sky Garden at an altitude of 273 meters. From here opens a fascinating panorama of the city. In good weather, the city of Tokyo and Mount Fuji are visible. There is a sky bar where you can have a cup of coffee or a glass of beer before returning to Tokyo.
After such a busy day, you will have time to relax in the car on your way to Tokyo. The return journey will take about an hour.
