Kawagoe is a special town located 30-40 minutes by train from the center of Tokuo. If you want to visit Edo Japan (1603-1867), then Kawagoe is for you. It is known as “Little Edo”.
You will visit historical Japan, enjoying the architecture of the time, walking along the streets, where samurai, artisans, traders, women in kimono walked. You can rent a kimono cheaply and have a wonderful day in this Japanese national outfit.
If desired, you can spend a whole day here, visiting ancient temples, historical museums, visit the hot springs (Onsen).
