Description:
Exclusive excursion during the cherry blossom season to the most beautiful places of cherry blossoming from a biologist and part-time teacher of ikebana (Japanese flower arrangement). Hardly anyone knows more about sakura than I do, my first website about Japan was called Hanami in 1999.
I’ve been living in downtown Tokyo since 1996, and every year I find temples, secret cherry blossom sites, and make interesting new routes.
My photos are used in guidebooks and books about Japan. I will show you the most interesting places and tell you how and where to photograph sakura.
