Tokyo. Sightseeing tour
Description:
10:00 Meeting. The guide will meet you in the lobby of the hotel with a sign in the hands that shows your name and surname.
First of all, we will go to one of the most beautiful gardens of the capital of Happoen - the garden of 8 landscapes, that is, emphasizes the fact that the garden is beautiful from all points. There are hills overgrown with bushes and trees, and a pond in which huge imperial carp swim and a stream that forms a small waterfall. In spring cherry blossoms, and in summer azalea, in autumn Japanese maples burn dazzlingly, and in winter plums. We will see: a tea house, arbors, as well as a stone pagoda and lanterns, one of which was carved more than 800 years ago. Another feature of the Happo-en garden is the collection of dwarf bonsai trees. Some are over 500 years old. In spring, flowers bloom on their branches, and in autumn miniature fruits appear.
We will climb to the Tokyo Tower observation deck to a height of 150 m, an ideal place for the first acquaintance with Tokyo. The television tower has a story that I will tell you about.
Then we will move to one of the famous Buddhist temples of Japan - Dzojoji, which was built in 1393 and was the family temple of the last ruling samurai clan Tokugawa. 6 of his 15 shoguns are buried here. The temple is decorated with the main colorful gate built in the early 17th century, whose height is 21 meters and width is 28 meters. It is impossible to pass by the statues of unborn children, which are located at the back of the temple and the bell of Daibonsho cast in 1673. From the temple there is a stunning view of the Tokyo TV Tower, so reminiscent of the Eiffel Tower. Photos in contrast of antiquity and modernity are impressive.
