Tokyo - The most important thing
Description:
What will you see?
The journey begins in Asakusa, an area that still feels the atmosphere of old Japan. The first stop is the Sensoji Temple, one of the oldest Buddhist temples in the capital, also known as the Golden Dragon Temple. To the temple leads the shopping street Nakamise with many shops with traditional sweets and souvenirs. In Asakusa, you can try on a kimono, take photos overlooking the Tokyo Skytrie Tower, ride a rickshaw or try the original Asahi beer.
Then we go through Ochanomizu and Akihabara. In Ochanomizu we will see Nikolai-do, the main temple of the Japanese Autonomous Orthodox Church, and a famous architectural monument. In Akihabara, we will make a longer stop to walk around the block and see why this place has become a real mecca for anime and pop culture lovers.
Then we head to the Imperial Palace. We will walk through its outer gardens and surrounding areas. After that, we will visit the Marunouchi district, located near the Tokyo station. Here are the headquarters of major Japanese corporations, as well as such famous complexes as the Marunouchi Building, Shin-Marunouchi, Kitte and Brick Square. You can walk along the elegant street Marunouchi Naka-dori – it is called “little Ginza” – and admire the reconstructed square near the station with the majestic building of the st. Tokyo is European Renaissance style.
During the tour you will hear fascinating stories about Japan, Tokyo, and visited areas.
