Tokyo Tower
Description:
From two observation areas (150m. and 250m.) there is a fascinating panoramic view of the huge metropolis. In good weather you can see Mount Fuji.
At the entrance, the tourist receives a memo from which he learns that this is the highest free-standing structure in the world rose above the ground at 333 meters, it weighs only 4000 tons. At night, 176 spotlights illuminate the tower with orange light in winter and white glow in summer.
In addition to its main purpose - transmission of television and radio signals, the tower of course serves as a tourist attraction and is considered one of the symbols of Tokyo. Every year, more than 2.5 million tourists visit the observation decks, halls and museums of the tower, and since its opening, about 200 million people have visited it. Going up to the third floor, you will get to the wonderful Wax Museum. The museum opened in 1970, and exhibits for its composition were commissioned directly in London, in the workshops of the Madame Tussauds Museum. On the same floor there is a permanent exhibition of holography. On the ground floor is one of the best aquariums in the country, which is home to more than 50,000 fish.
