Climbing Mount Fuji

Description:

Mentioning its name, the Japanese always add the word "san" - Fuji-san - in deference to this mountain, the highest in Japan. Its height is almost 3800 meters, thanks to which the snow-capped peak of Fuji is visible from Tokyo, up to 100 kilometers. You can contemplate an extinct volcano from the ground, or vice versa – to explore the surroundings of the mountain from its top. In July and August, when the mountain is open to visitors, dozens of people climb to the top of the sacred mountain in the morning. Climbing for 5-6 hours plus upstairs is guaranteed to be cold. But all the inconveniences should be endured for the sake of a unique experience - the first on earth to meet the dawn of a new day.
