Mori Tower

Roppongi Hills Mori Tower, Roppongi, Minato-ku, Tō kyō -to

Description:

Mori Tower is a 54-story skyscraper built by Tokyo magnate and one of Japan’s richest men, Minoru Mori.

The huge metal spider in front of the entrance (work by American sculptor Louise Bourgeois) belongs to the Mori Museum, which occupies the upper floor of the tower and regularly hosts first-class exhibitions of modern art. There, under the roof, there is the best observation deck of the city, from which you can clearly see all areas of the capital, the port and the volcano of Fuji.

If there is no rain or fog, for extra money you can climb even higher, to the helipad. The view from her is especially impressive at sunset, when daytime Tokyo in a few minutes turns into a sparkling million lights city from "Blade Runner razor".
