The Walt Disney Monument

Tokyo has its own Disneyland. Guests of the park meet bronze Walt Disney in the company of the well-known character - Mickey Mouse. The founder and main symbol of The Walt Disney Company hold hands firmly, personifying friendship for centuries. On the pedestal of the bronze monument is carved the inscription “partners”.
Tokyo Disneyland is the first Walt Disney amusement park built outside of America. The monument, which has become a landmark of Tokyo, is located on the outskirts of the city in Chiba Prefecture.
You can get to the Walt Disney Monument by JR Keiyo Local (about 16 minutes on the way), by bus from Tokyo Station Yaesu South Exit (about 35 minutes), by taxi or personal car.
