Late for sakura? Long live the sakura!

Description:

The cherry blossoms are coming to an end.

Under the wind fly petals - the same "sakura-fubuki". Parks are gradually emptying, and it seems that spring has already passed.

But this is just the end of one phase. While Somei Yoshino crumbles, other varieties come into play.

Their flowers are denser, shades are richer - from deep pink to rare greenish and soft yellow tones. They stay longer and open without the usual excitement.

Spring changes character at this point. It becomes calmer, slower, almost chamber.

This photo album is dedicated to the transition from the departing Somei Yoshino to the late cherry that replaces it.

One that is often overlooked.

And maybe that’s why I remember it more.
