Berlin Falls
Berlin Falls, South Africa 0.1 mC
Description:
Mpumalanga is a small province in South Africa. It is here that you can see one of the wonders of the world - the Berlin Falls. It is located near the place called the Window of God and is one of the highest waterfalls in South Africa.
The waterfall has the shape of a candle: the first cascade, narrow and short, resembles a kind of wick, the second cascade is much wider and larger and is the body of a candle.
The waterfall received its European name during the gold rush, when a colony of German gold prospectors settled near this place.
