Blade River Canyon
Description:
Blade River Canyon is one of the main attractions of the Republic of South Africa. Its length reaches thirty kilometers, and the size of the reserve covers sixty square kilometers of land. In addition to the delightful view opening from the top, Blyde River Canyon has many attractions. Among them - 450-meter waterfall, 33-meter formation of quartzite and plateau "Window of God".
While visiting the canyon, be sure to get to the place where the Blyde River meets the Treur River. Centuries of erosion have formed striking rock formations that form associations with alien beings.
Another attraction of the canyon is the animals that inhabit it. Here you can see hippos, crocodiles, antelopes and buffaloes.
