North Luangwa National Park

North Luangwa National Park, Zambia 30 km V

Description:

Experts call North Luangwa National Park one of the greatest nature reserves in the world. And with good reason - the wild beast life riot around the Luangwa River is one of the most intense in Africa.

The Luangwa River is the most intact major river system in Africa. Around it is concentrated a wide range of species of wild animals and birds. It is here that the term "safari" was born - many people come here to see firsthand the fabulous beauty of the untouched wildlife of Africa.

North Luangwa National Park is home to 60 species of animals and more than 400 different species of birds. Unfortunately, there is an alarming rate of rhinoceros extinction now in these parts.
