Ngonye Falls

A few kilometers upstream from the famous Victoria Falls in Zambia is Ngonye Falls. Due to its inaccessibility, it is not as famous as its popular counterpart.
Ngonye is located in one of the many national parks of Zambia Shioma Ngwezi, near the city of Sioma.
The average height of Ngonye Falls is about 20 meters, but it is more impressive for its width and unusual shape in the form of a crescent, or horseshoe.
The waterfall collapses with seething waters from rocky ledges, forming many cascades, shimmering in the bright sun with millions of multicolored splashes. The stunning picture causes a storm of emotions among the few tourists who decided to get to this corner of the African continent.
