Africa Day in Zimbabwe

Description:

Annually celebrated Africa Day is a good occasion to announce successes
Today, Africans across the continent celebrate Africa Day. On 25 May 1963, the Organization of African Unity was formed. Since then, this holiday is celebrated in honor of this anniversary.

Africa Day in Zimbabwe is a day of high speeches, which promote the struggle for the complete liberation of Africa from colonialism and the need to create an African Union.

The annual observance of Africa Day is a good occasion to announce Africa’s successes, assess the challenges facing the continent and reflect on its enormous, yet unfulfilled, potential. On this day, more than any other, we feel the desire of all the people of African countries to see Africa as a peaceful, prosperous and democratic continent.
