Lana River

lana river, Tirana, Albania

Description:

In Tirana there is a river called Lana, the length of the river is 29 km. It divides the capital into southern and northern parts. It is very small and the purity of the water leaves much to be desired. Waste is poured into the river, there are no treatment plants. This makes the water dirty marshy color, the smell is also not the most pleasant. But there are beautiful bridges across the river. There are no animals in the water due to severe pollution, you can not swim in it. It is important to note that this is one of the largest tributaries of Tirana. The river flows through the city, affecting various shops, restaurants, etc. In one place it flows along the street Rryuga Theodor Keko.
