Description:

The 11 November Stadium in Luanda is one of the largest stadiums in Angola. It was built in late 2009 specifically for the significant event - the 2010 Africa Cup. As part of the world tour of football, some of the most famous matches of the group stage were held. The construction of the stadium cost the African government $227 million. The stadium was named after the date of Angola's independence. The stadium is very large and can accommodate up to 50,000 spectators.

This is a favorite place of the national team of the country and games of various football clubs are often held here. There are also many African performers and musical groups at the stadium. Built to all European standards, the roof perfectly protects from the sun at any time of the year. That’s why even in extreme heat, spectators are comfortable enough to enjoy matches.
