The Beatles Museum in Buenos Aires
buenos Aires, Corrientes Avenue, Argentina
About the company:
The Beatles Museum in Buenos Aires is the only museum of the legendary Beatles in Latin America. The museum has about 10,000 objects. At the exhibition you can see everything that has a logo or an image of musicians, as well as personal belongings of the soloists of the group.
The Beatles Museum in Buenos Aires opened in January 2011. Visitors to the museum were both indigenous people of Argentina and foreign tourists. The owner of the museum is a well-known private collector Rodolfo Vasquez. Since the age of 10, he collects everything related to his favorite group and in 2001 his collection was recognized as the largest in the world, in honor of which he was listed in the Guinness Book of Records. This can be seen at the entrance to the museum. Visitors to the museum are given the opportunity to view exhibits that belonged to the “Liverpool Four” or are somehow associated with them, to the quiet sounding music of the Beatles.
The most unusual and interesting exhibits are Beatles socks and capron women’s tights with portraits of soloists. One of the most valuable exhibits is the autograph of John Lennon. The museum features not only cups, plates and magnets, but also financial checks signed by Ringo Starr and George Harrison. Autographs, posters, vinyl records with songs. There are even family correspondence, clothes, wigs. The exhibits presented in the museum are collected from the very existence of the group - from the "turbulent Hamburg times" to its collapse in April 1970.
The museum will be interesting to numerous fans of the Beatles not only older people, but also very young music lovers.
In a cozy courtyard, next to the museum there is another cafe and bar club. The museum, café and bar club are combined into a complex called "Beatlesland" and wholly owned by Vasquez.
