Etchmiadzin monastery

Echmiadzin Monastery in Armenia (Yerevan) is located two dozen kilometers from the capital, and is the current residence of the Catholicos of Armenians. The territory of the monastery is a lot of khachkars, including those belonging to the XVII-XIII century and brought from the graves of Old Juga.

The monastery is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List, and on the territory of the residence itself there is a fairly large park area. You can get to this attraction by taxi or public transport running from the central bus station of the capital of Armenia.
